I was thinking this was my worst painting of the year — that I'd ruined it experimenting with being less precious about things. Now I'm not so sure.
In other news of unsureness, it's not clear whether the Sletter will continue to go out according to the lunar rhythm this first set of twelve has followed (sometimes loosely); it might, or might even vanish for a bit and emerge again from the dirt like a turtle you thought had left for the great shell in the sky — or maybe it even will depart like that ultimate hibernation, only to take another form later. Feel free to stay tuned or not!
In the meantime, I'll be working on this music.
